Position Overview
The role involves applying cutting-edge deep learning methodologies to enhance plant breeding and genetic improvement programs. This research is pivotal for developing resilient and high-yielding crops suited to diverse climatic challenges, ultimately contributing to global food security.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Development and Application of Deep Learning Models:
- Design and optimize deep learning algorithms for analyzing large-scale genomic, phenotypic, and environmental datasets.
- Implement machine learning models to identify patterns and correlations that enhance plant trait selection, such as drought resistance, disease tolerance, and yield improvement.
2. Collaborative Research Initiatives:
